DAY 1:
Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe to dinner and overnight at Executive airport hotel.

DAY 2:
After an early morning breakfast take a morning drive to Mabamba swamp at the Entebbe out skirts, using a hand paddled boat in the swamp to search for the rare shoebill, little green bee eaters, African Jacana, laser Jacana, black crake, malachite kingfisher, common stone chat, fan tailed widow bird, woodland kingfisher, pied kingfishers yellow billed ducks, swamp fly catcher, along with other birds. Drive to the Entebbe Botanical gardens after lunch in search of a numerous weaver birds, sunbirds among others.

Then proceed to Kampala overnight at Cassia hotel.

DAY 3:
Drive westwards early morning for Kibale Forest NP  birding enroute for the grey heron, ruppell’s sterling, black and white casqued hornbills, broad billed rollers, grey headed sparrows, palm nut vultures, hooded vultures, little bee eaters among many others as you drive to Fort Portal town through the scenic Tea plantations. Lunch will be enroute. Check in for dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge or Chimp's Nest Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge. F/B

DAY 4:
Proceed to kibale Forest National Park located a few metres away from the lodge birding for variety of forest birds. Kibale forest contains over 325 bird species including 6 (six) that are endemic to the Albertine Rift region among which may include black capped apalis, blue-headed sunbird, collard apalis, dusky crimson-wing, purple-breasted sunbird, red-faced woodland warbler. Other kibale specials include a variety of pitas, black bee-eater, little greenbul, brown chested alethe, blue breasted kingfisher, Abyssinian ground-thrush, cromned eagle, yellow rumped tinker bird, and yellow spotted nacator among others. However besides birds, a variety of primates most notably chimpanzees on reservation of a permit may be seen as well as blue monkey, grey cheeked mangabay, red tailed monkey, olive baboon, bush baby and potto. Have a lunch break then continue birding in the Swamps for the great blue Turaco, and a variety of weaver birds, overnight at at Primate Lodge or Chimp's Nest Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge. F/B

DAY 5:
Drive early morning further southwest for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP through Ishasha Sector and given luck may view the tree climbing lions as well as buffaloes, Elephants, a variety of antelopes and numerous savannah birds. Make sure you have packed lunch. Drive further birding enroute for crown hornbill, yellow backed weavers, black kites, crowned cranes among others, check in at Mahogany Springs lodge/ Buhoma lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY 6:
After an early morning breakfast with packed lunch, engage in a forest walk in to the mighty Bwindi Forest most pronounced for the presence of the endangered Gorillas that you can track on attainment of a permit. Birds species like the Rwenzori Turaco, Ross’s Turaco, Rufous-chested fluff tail, olive long-tailed cuckoo then break off to lunch after which the bird watching continues for red chested owlet, evergreen Forest warbler, Black Bee-eaters, Bronze napped pigeon, and enormous coloured bush shrike among others. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs lodge/ Buhoma lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY 7:
Drive to Kampala birding enroute. Have lunch enroute and stop over at the equator for photography. Arrive late evening in Kampala.
Cassia Lodge to dinner and overnight.

DAY 8:
Depending on the time of your departure flight, may tour around the city of Kampala then later drive to the Airport in time for your flight.
